Background

Potboiler Media is a marketing agency located in Waukegan, IL. that aims to promote small businesses across the Lake County area. Hence the name, Potboiler, the founders of the company were heavily inspired by all of their unique clients and hope to share their story.

The Goal:

Just like their clients, Potboiler Media is also unique. The company wanted to create a new look for their brand: one that will stand out compared to other media groups in the area. The group has a high sense of passion when explaining their goals and visions. When designing this logo, I wanted to encapsulate the group’s fiery essence by incorporating a fire symbol and use a color palette that will stray away ones typically found in corporate design. Since the group’s main specialty is film, it was also important to incorporate textures and symbols that represent film and media.
